Early Conciliation

Early conciliation is a free service provided by ACAS. You must contact ACAS  before bringing an Employment Tribunal claim.  The ACAS Conciliation Officer will speak to you and your employer to try and reach a settlement. If this does not work after 28 days or a further extended period, ACAS issues a Certificate which means that you can now take your claim to the Employment Tribunal.
