Summary Dismissal
Summary dismissal is the termination of employment for gross misconduct. This is behaviour that is so serious as to justify dismissal without notice. Proven theft, fraud, physical violence, serious negligence or serious breach of health and safety regulations, are all serious breaches which will lead to summary dismissal.
